October 1 is Chinese National Holiday! I'm in shock. Complete awe and amazement at how incredible our God is. He's so faithful and his heart is mercy. It kills me every time I think about it. This day. October 1, two years ago, I repeat, two years ago , I moved away from my friends and family in Chicago, Illinois to live in my new home, Shepherd's Field Children's Village. Pondering and remembering all that has happened in this China life of mine from the moment I knew this was my calling to this morning as I sat and wrote this post, I can't believe what an incredible journey it has been with many tremendous highs and some deep lows. Regardless of what situations have come my way, two things have remained constant: one. The Grace, Peace and guidance of the living God has been ever present in my life here.
